Hannah Ralph has topped a fantastic year of amateur golf in 2009 by
qualifying for a full tour card on the Ladies European Tour 2010. This is
a great opportunity for Hannah to play professional golf all over the
world including Italy, Switzerland and China. Her first event will be in
Morocco on the 18th March.
The tour consists of 26 events starting in February and finishing in
December. Hannah now has a main sponsor - details to appear soon.
The prize money on the 2010 tour is £9.5 million Euros but in return for
this the cost of competing each week is very expensive – somewhere
in
the region of £25K to play a full season. Hannah has had incredible help with this from a fantastic team; A BIG thanks to them as without you this year on tour wouldn't have been possible.
We have set up a Club fund to help with Hannah’s day to day expenses,
which will be administered by Margaret Curwood (Lady Captain) and
Katie Dawkins (Hannah’s coach and lucky charm!)
To make a donation to the fund please makes cheques payable to
Hannah Ralph or H. Ralph and give them to Margaret or leave for her
attention in the office or her pigeon hole. (These are donations only so
will not be returnable, Hannah is very grateful for the help the members
have given her so far and hopes to do us all proud this season!!)
